A great new nature park is open for exploring, hiking, canoeing, and more in Marianna. The Hinson Conservation and Recreation Area, a part of the Chipola River Greenway project, contains a bluff trail along the Chipola River, caves, and many other wonders of nature. It is located just a mile south of the Courthouse on Hwy 73.
To learn about Chipola River Greenway, see Chipola River Partnership. To volunteer to maintain the park, see Chipola River Volunteers Group on Facebook

Another inclusion in the Chipola Greenway is a trail system accessed a couple of miles north of the Hinson Conservation and Recreation Area, at the north end of Noland Street in Marianna. This short, relaxing video explores the natural beauty of these trails.
